We are seeking an experienced and proactive

Retail Department Manager

to oversee daily retail operations within a fast-paced environment in CV37. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth store operations, excellent customer service, and effective management of staff in line with company standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong people management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive performance while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and support retail staff including sales assistants, supervisors, and team leaders. Oversee daily store operations including customer service, merchandising, stock control, and replenishment. Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met. Allocate duties, manage rotas, and plan daily shift activities. Monitor staff performance, productivity, and attendance. Train new employees and support ongoing staff development. Ensure health & safety procedures, store cleanliness, and visual standards are maintained. Handle customer queries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly. Coordinate with senior management regarding sales performance and operational updates. Support continuous improvement in store efficiency and sales performance.
Requirements:

Full-Time Right to Work in the UK Minimum

2 years' experience

in a retail supervisory or management role Strong command of English (spoken and written) Proven leadership and decision-making skills Organised, confident, and able to manage a busy retail team Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment Highly reliable, punctual, and committed
