Part Time - 21 hours per week



3 days over a 6 day week including weekends

Permanent Contract



12.21 per hour

Retail

Driver & Sales Supervisor

to work within our retail team of staff and volunteers at our Clacton store.

You will be responsible for collecting and delivering furniture, donated and bought in goods throughout the charity's retail outlets as well as working with the shop manager to maximise sales of donated and new stock.

A current full, valid driving license?

Passionate about customer service & building community support for the charity? Enjoy working as part of a team but also work on your own initiative? Happy to work on your own at times? Flexible to work at the weekends?

The role:



Involves manual handling, including lifting large items of furniture/electrical. You will assist in the storage, organisation and delivery of goods from our March furniture shop to the homes of members of the public along with the drivers. You will support other areas of the charity's supply and distribution of stock and equipment between shops. Working with the shop manager to maximise sales of donated and new stock. Supporting the shop volunteer team by providing guidance and direction to their efforts. Maintaining a high standard of display, presentation and cleanliness throughout the shop. In the absence of the manager, ensuring that all monies are banked, daily/weekly banking & reporting processes are followed, and shop is opened and closed at end of day.
