The Retail Logistics Administrator (6-month f/t contract) is to support the delivery of the strategic priorities of Scope:

Fixed term for 6 months

The role





The post holder will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the retail logistics team, helping ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This includes managing logistics queries, liaising with suppliers and partners, coordinating collections and refurbishments, processing data and reports, and keeping systems up to date. The role plays a vital part in making sure Scope's donated goods get where they need to go, so we can raise funds to support disabled people and their families.



In this role you will:


Monitor Logistics mailboxes and voicemail and deal with queries and complaints from a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Collate weekly textile bank weight return data from drivers and enter it into Scope's Textile Bank database. Run Textile Bank tonnage reports and send them to the relevant councils. Liaise with drivers to ensure timely collections from textile banks, and follow up on any issues. Be the main point of contact for rag merchants and shops to coordinate the collection of rag from stores and resolve any related issues. Act as the day-to-day contact for textile bank refurbishments, working with suppliers and internal teams to coordinate work. Be the first point of contact for World of Books, handling day-to-day communication and coordination. Liaise with corporate donors, van drivers and area managers to arrange the collection of corporate donations and delivery to shops. Process all purchase orders once authorised, and input goods received notes and invoices onto Scope's payment system.

About you





You will:


Have experience working in an administrative role. Be comfortable working with data - entering it accurately and producing basic reports. Have experience communicating with a range of people by phone and email. Have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Have good time management and ability to prioritise tasks. Be confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook and Word). Have clear and professional communication skills - written and spoken. Be able to follow processes and spot when something isn't right. Be proactive and have a problem-solving approach. Can work well both independently and as part of a team.
