Role Overview

As a Retail Optical Assistant at Selectspecs, your role is to provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers in finding eyewear that is specific to their vision and style requirements.

We may be able to offer this role to tailor working hours to suit you. Saturdays will not be required, although the occasional cover would be greatly appreciated. Comprehensive training will also be provided.

The Ideal Candidate

Key Responsibilities

Build and apply knowledge of optical products and services, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses. Assisting customers with frame selection, fittings, adjustments, and repairs. Conducting pre-screening eye examinations. Managing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, handling specific phone queries, and processing payments. Promoting products and services to customers. Maintaining the store's visual appeal through organisation and stock management. Ensuring customers leave with eyewear that fits comfortably and meets their needs.
