The Opportunity

We are now looking for a confident, creative, and customer-focused Retail Outlet Advisor to join our Padiham team on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave. You'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience and inspiring our customers with beautiful design advice.


This is a fixed-term position, working 24 hours per week across 3 days. Weekend availability is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing first-class service to retail and trade customers, both in-store and by phone Offering expert product knowledge and design-led advice Displaying and maintaining stock to its full potential Mixing paint to exact formulas using in-store machinery Managing till operations, handling cash, and balancing daily takings Keeping the outlet clean, safe, and visually appealing Replenishing stock from the warehouse Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new products and promotions Supporting the wider outlet team and contributing to a positive team culture

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in retail or customer service Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confidence using tills and basic computer systems (Microsoft Word and Excel) A proactive and friendly approach to customer interaction Accuracy with cash handling and order processing A flexible team player who can adapt to a range of daily demands Interest in interiors or design is a bonus
