Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs, and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales floor. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable retail skills within a dynamic and supportive environment. Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Duties

Greeting customers warmly and offering assistance to enhance their shopping experience Providing detailed product information and answering customer queries effectively Operating cash registers and processing transactions accurately Restocking shelves and maintaining a tidy, organised sales area Managing stock levels and assisting with inventory counts Promoting current offers and new products to maximise sales opportunities Handling customer complaints or concerns professionally and courteously Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure excellent service delivery

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Organised with strong attention to detail for stock management and merchandising tasks Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work hours, including weekends if required Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately A positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to customer service
