As a Retail Advisor, you will play a crucial role in engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their shopping experience. This position requires strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to upsell products effectively.

Duties

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Communicate product knowledge clearly to assist customers in making informed decisions. Upsell and promote additional products based on customer needs and preferences. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Utilise basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance. Assist with inventory management and restocking as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred. Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous. Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

Retail sales: 3 years (preferred) customer service: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
