MEDUSA JUICE Retail Sales Advisor

The Overview

We're looking for a friendly, positive person to join the retail team in our King's Lynn store. Someone who will enjoy interaction with colleagues and provide excellent service to members of the public.

The role will suit an enthusiastic, flexible person who can embrace the varied tasks, routines and products of an ever-changing retail environment.

The Company

Medusa is a privately owned and operated company, based in Kings Lynn with an additional retail store in Norwich. We operate a highly effective online store with next-day shipping from Kings Lynn.

We sell a vast range hardware, spares, e-liquids and CBD.

The business was started by ex-smokers who used vaping products to help them quit. Medusa is proud to play its part in helping people to migrate from cigarette smoking to a safer alternative, providing the hardware, the e-liquids and the best advice.

In a highly competitive market, Medusa is known for high-quality e-liquids and CBD products, all of which have been developed in-house and manufactured in the UK under our direct supervision. Our products are clean, safe, taste great and are always offered at competitive prices. We make a particular effort to provide great service in-store and online, every time. As a result we have very high levels of customer loyalty, just read the reviews on Google for confirmation.

The Job Details

If you've worked in retail you know the score; however these are the headline duties and responsibilities for confirmation:

Open and close the store on request after suitable training Promote and sell electronic cigarettes, e-liquids and CBD products to shoppers Provide relevant, clear information and advice to aid buying decisions and close sales Be mindful of deals and targets to maximise value for customers and sales for the company Handle cash and other payment methods with accuracy and honesty Process all transactions accurately through the EPOS system Carry out other tasks as requested to optimise and maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the store

This position will start as a part-time role (16 hours/week) for a 6 month training and probation period, after which there will be an option to discuss increasing to (25 hours/week).

The Person

We think these characteristics describe an ideal candidate:

Previous experience in a customer-facing sales environment A good knowledge of electronic cigarettes, vaping and e-liquids Honest Enthusiasm for the industry and willing to keep abreast of trends and developments Clear, concise communication skills and a friendly telephone manner Pride in personal appearance and willing to wear the company-supplied uniform, acting as a front line ambassador for the business Happy to undertake occasional tasks such as warehousing, admin and re-stocking, plus daily essentials such as store cleaning, tidying and merchandising Flexible and willing to work weekends/evenings if necessary EPOS knowledge would be advantageous, but is not essential
