We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, time management abilities, and a flair for upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs. Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing. Process transactions accurately using the till and handle cash responsibly. Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations. Demonstrate effective upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Answer customer queries promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when required. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Bilingual candidates who can communicate fluently in both English and Spanish are highly desirable. A passion for sales and the ability to engage customers effectively.
