Are you passionate about men's fashion and providing exceptional customer service? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at RED Belfast, a prestigious formal menswear boutique in Belfast City Centre.

Role Overview:

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our discerning clientele. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting the perfect formal attire for special occasions, weddings, and business events. You'll work closely with our team to maintain the shop's impeccable standards and uphold our reputation for quality and elegance.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

Greet customers warmly and engage in friendly conversations. Understand their preferences, needs, and style requirements. Provide personalised recommendations based on their individual tastes.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of our formal menswear collection. Educate customers on fabric types, tailoring details, and styling options. Assist with fittings and alterations as needed.

Sales and Upselling:

Actively promote our range of suits, tuxedos, shirts, and accessories. Upsell complementary items such as ties, pocket squares, and cufflinks.

Visual Merchandising:

Ensure the shop floor is well-presented and organised. Participate in window displays and seasonal promotions. Maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment.

Customer Service Excellence:

Handle inquiries, returns, and exchanges professionally. Address any customer concerns promptly and effectively. Create lasting relationships with our clientele.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in retail sales (menswear or formalwear preferred but not essential). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for fashion and an eye for detail. Ability to work well in a team. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
