Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and maintaining an inviting store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organised, and have a passion for retail.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Maintain a well-organised sales floor, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience. Process transactions accurately at the till, handling cash and card payments efficiently. Answer customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising tasks. Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.

Requirements

Proficiency in English Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. Excellent organisational skills to manage stock and maintain an orderly environment. Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential.
