Frank Nutt Sewing Machines is a well-established retail store specialising in sales of domestic sewing machines (in store and online) as well as offering machine repair services.

Duties

Engage with customers warmly, offering personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Maintain attractive merchandising displays to highlight promotions and new arrivals Restock shelves, organize stock rooms, and ensure the store remains tidy and inviting Assist with inventory management by stocking products and conducting regular stock checks Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support supervising team members by guiding new staff on store procedures and customer service standards Respond to email queries with accurate information Handle queries regarding repairs and service bookings Processing of online orders

Experience

Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Demonstrated strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members effectively Supervising experience is a plus, indicating leadership capabilities in a retail setting Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
