The Retail Sales Assistant serves as a crucial point of contact between the store and its customers. They assist in ensuring an excellent shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, offering product information, and facilitating sales transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers, addressing inquiries, and providing product information.
Sales:
Actively promote and sell products, upsell where appropriate, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a thorough understanding of store merchandise, including features, benefits, and pricing.
Inventory Management:
Assist in stock replenishment, ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and neatly organized.
Cash Handling:
Process transactions accurately including handling cash, credit/debit cards transactions, and providing receipts.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of Sales Experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
Ability to work Saturdays.
A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Ability to lift/move moderately heavy items.
Comfortable engaging with customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
