Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our talented team. We have two stores in Camden Market, Sweyn Forkbeard (selling Male Grooming Products), and Lolita in London (selling fashion for women), a weekend market in Jubilee Market Covent Garden, and also a popup Christmas Market Cabin in Hays Galleria, London Bridge during November and December.

The ideal candidate will be trained in different shops, and must be able to sell both men and women. We provide full paid training, and the Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, supporting sales activities, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position requires a proactive individual who can work well in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping customers find the right products.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Provide detailed product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. Process transactions accurately at the till, handling cash and card payments efficiently. Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring cleanliness. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve store performance. Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer loyalty.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage effectively with customers. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly and approachable demeanour that fosters positive customer interactions. Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels. Ability to work well in a team as well as independently when required. Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. We require to wear our dress code, formal and smart.
