Stansted Park Garden Centre is a fast expanding, high-quality retail, and catering destination. Situated on the Stansted Park estate, we are part of an inspirational visitor attraction and gateway to the South Downs National Park.

We are now recruiting for a Garden Centre Assistant

Essentials:

We are looking for a person who has retail experience and proven merchandising and display skills. Most of your time will be spent on the shop floor. The ability to engage with customers and to sell is crucial. However, your enthusiasm and ability to learn is equally important.

We are open 7 days a week and alternate weekend working will be required.

You should be able to:

Be an enthusiastic member of the Garden Centre team.

Make all customers feel welcome.

Help and assist customers to find the products they require.

Till operation

Stock Replenishment and ability to use product to make displays with impact.

Ability to maintain a clean and tidy working environment.

Stansted Park sits between Chichester and Portsmouth. Please note Stansted Park is not served by public transport, so ideally you will have your own transport and free parking is available.

Job Type Permanent, part time 30 - 35 hours

Salary: 12.50 per hour
