Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will engaging with customers to provide exceptional service and support their shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and your passion for merchandising will play a key role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on products and services. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandise display. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Uphold company standards for cleanliness and organisation within the store. Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Experience
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills, Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to return time and again!
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
Work Location: In person
