About us
The Fish People are a long standing fishmonger & delicatessen based in the southside of Glasgow. We pride ourselves on providing fresh and high-quality seafood, and excellent customer service. We have a friendly atmosphere and a great existing team and we are looking for someone who is confident, polite and able to work to a fast pace during busy times.
The role includes but is not limited to:
Assisting with the set up of the shop in the morning Keeping the shelves and window beds stocked Serving customers Taking customer orders and dealing with phone enquiries Keeping the shop clean and tidy Assisting with closing the shop down at night.
Working hours are Wednesday (11-4) and Thursday (8-4). We are also looking for someone flexible to cover holidays when necessary. This would be a temporary position through the festive period; however, there may be room for a permanent role for someone who can take on additional weekly hours from January ( an additional 12 hours per week)
