2 days per week initially, potential to increase
Part time retail assistant required for the Oldest Sweet Shop, Pateley Bridge. A chance to work in our historic shop with a friendly team in the heart of the local community. The shop first opened its doors in 1827, and is still today selling and delivering quality traditional sweets and chocolates.
Key responsibilities:
Customer service:
Greeting customers, answering queries, providing product advice and assisting with finding itemsSales:
Processing customer payments both cash and card, handling returns and refunds if requiredStock management:
Re-stocking shelves, receiving deliveries, unpacking and arranging new stock, organising stock room when requiredShop maintenance:
Keeping shop tidy and clean, maintaining displaysEssential Skills:
Communication:
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and staffTeamwork:
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAdaptability:
Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy periods and a willingness to learn about productsDependability:
Must be punctual, trustworthy, reliable and able to follow instructionsJob Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
