Role Summary:
As a Sales Assistant / Keyholder, you'll support the day-to-day running of the store, providing excellent customer service while ensuring the shop is well presented and efficiently stocked. As a trusted keyholder, you will also be responsible for opening or closing the store and supporting the wider team during shifts.

Firefly Vintage began in 2021 on the vibrant market stalls of Bristol, opening our first brick-and-mortar store in Bath in 2023. Since then, we've established ourselves as a must-stop-shop for sustainable fashion lovers throughout the South West, known for high quality, curated vintage clothing and accessories, and all-round good vibes.
Now in an exciting phase of growth, we're expanding into permanent concessions in Birmingham and Liverpool, and launching our own photography studio, online store, and personal styling experiences.This is a chance to join a small, ambitious team at the heart of a fast-growing start-up -- where creativity, energy, and individuality are key. You'll be working closely alongside owners Alice and Chris in a tight-knit, friendly and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out
opening and/or closing duties
in line with store policies. Occasional
cashing up
duties when supervisors or managers are not present.
Deliver outstanding
customer service
, assisting shoppers in a friendly and helpful manner
Support
stock processing
, including tagging, pricing, replenishing, and organising stock on the shop floor
Maintain
a clean, well-presented and welcoming store environment
Be proactive in staying
productive and on-task
during quieter periods
Help facilitate
social media content
, being included in photo and video content for our Instagram, TikTok and Facebook pages
Contribute
to a positive
team environment
, encouraging open communication and good energy on shift
Ability to

and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Take responsibility for meeting store
sales targets
during your shifts and contribute to a shared team focus on results, including upselling relevant products to customers as an extension of excellent customer service, and acquiring high-quality leads and bookings for additional services - such as our upcoming Photography Studio and Personal Styling events.
Step up to support the Supervisor where needed, especially in their absence or during busy times
Assisting customers with
personal styling
tips at both dedicated events and as a part of day-to-day customer service, at the customers' request
An Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A friendly, proactive and professional attitude
Previous retail or hospitality experience
A strong sense of responsibility and reliability, especially around keyholding
Good time management and a willingness to take initiative
Interest in vintage fashion and our brand mission - to provide high-quality, sustainable fashion.

Pay: 12.49 per hour
