Retail Sales/kitchen Assistants

to join our team on a permanent minimum 15 hour contract. some of the shifts will be during the day/evening 6am till 2pm or 2pm until 10pm but we have one overnight shift available from 10pm till 5am although more shifts might be available to cover holidays and sickness

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional service by assisting customers with their purchases and answering inquiries.

Upselling & Promotion:

Use upselling techniques to boost sales and highlight key store products.

Store Maintenance:

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience.

Restocking:

Help restock shelves and keep the store fully stocked at all times.

Team Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.

Time Management:

Prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure a quick and seamless customer experience.

Kitchen Support:

Train in the kitchen to

cover breaks

and assist with

evening bakes

such as preparing fresh food items for customers (e.g., pastries, sandwiches, pizzas).

What We're Looking For:

Retail or Customer Service Experience:

Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and the team effectively.

Time Management:

The ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Clean UK Driving Licence:

Required for the role.

Team Player:

You must be someone who enjoys working with others in a collaborative environment.
