Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Associate at Homebird Interiors at our St Annes location.

The ideal candidate will have both sales and styling experience, ideally within an interiors or home furnishing business. Customer service is key so we are seeking someone who is always willing to go the extra mile to create the best experience.

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing stock across our various systems, and contributing to the overall success of our sales initiatives. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sales and customer service.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide detailed product information and answer any queries to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain an organised sales floor by ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Assist in managing inventory levels, including stock replenishment and conducting stock checks. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Participate in promotional activities and events to drive sales growth.

Requirements

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Strong organisational and IT skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Basic numerical skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
