Furniture Warehouse is a rapidly expanding furniture retailer with 8 stores across the East Midlands, specialising in high quality, low cost furniture and accessories for every room in the home. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join the team in our BRAND NEW MARKET HARBOROUGH STORE on a full-time -time basis.
Reporting to the Store Manager, this is an extremely varied role not necessarily typical of a retail store, including building and moving furniture, actively selling to customers and dealing with your customers during the duration of their journey shopping with us inclusive of the after-sales process.
The candidate should get a kick out of providing a first class customer experience. An amiable and presentable character is essential in this customer-facing role, you must be comfortable approaching and conversing with those that enter the store.
Since the job is so varied, flexibility is also essential, changing between building a Wardrobe and selling to a customer in the blink of an eye. The nature of the job dictates that a reasonable level of physical fitness is also a must.
The hours for this role are 9.00am - 5.00pm on days between Monday and Saturday and 9.00am to 4.00pm on Sunday.
