Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining an organised sales floor. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries confidently Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an attractive and organised sales floor Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash and card payments Manage stock levels by replenishing shelves and organising stockroom items efficiently Assist with organising promotional displays and seasonal merchandise Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock counts accurately Strong organisational skills to maintain a tidy and well-presented sales environment Good time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during shifts Previous experience in retail or merchandising is preferred but not essential; training will be provided

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
