Retail Sales Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and confident retail sales assistant to join our luxury souvenir and cashmere boutique in the heart of Oxford. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent product knowledge, refined service standards, and a proactive sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service in a premium retail setting
Maintain high standards of presentation and product care
Drive sales through confident product recommendations and upselling
Handle transactions accurately and efficiently
Support stock management and visual merchandising
Uphold the brand's reputation for quality and professionalism
Requirements
Proven retail experience in fashion, gifting, or luxury sectors
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, well-presented, and commercially aware
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Fluent English essential; additional languages an advantage
