Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate would be hard working with an eye for fashion; that ensures the customer is always the first priority. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, happy to work on their own but also as a part of our team.

Working hours would be Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday 10am-5pm (with the potential of a shorter Sunday shift if interested).

Applicants must be over the age of 21.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits to enhance the customer experience. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed effectively. Handle transactions accurately using the till system, including processing payments and managing returns. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of service. Participate in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting stock checks. Accept deliveries, including unpacking and processing for both in-store and online products. Enforce our stores policies and procedures.

Skills

Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. A good work ethic Excellent organisational skills to manage inventory and maintain a tidy workspace. Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy retail environment. A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting store initiatives. Previous experience in retail or sales is essential with a willingness to develop skills further. Good communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Efficient in using computer systems and point-of-sale technology.
