As an Outdoor Leisure & Christmas Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with a list of seasonal product groups and suppliers in conjunction with our Department Manager seamlessly changing the department and its offering throughout the year.
General duties
Create visual and inspirational displays to help sell our products
Assist our customers with product advice and aftersales service
Use our EPOS system to process customer orders and schedule deliveries
Merchandising stock and departmental housekeeping
Follow guidelines on action points following reports and floor-walks
Print and put out POS material in the relevant areas
Be able to identify slow-moving stock and take action in agreement with the Department Manager
Communicate any customer issues or concerns to the Department Manager for resolution
Uphold the retail standards and caretake the department in the absence of the Department Manager
