We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience by providing exceptional service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance. Demonstrate product knowledge and engage customers in conversation to promote sales. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting additional items that complement their purchases. Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing. Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for cash handling. Respond to customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance store performance. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the store environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds. Excellent organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to enhance customer satisfaction. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
