We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen interest in retail. This role involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. Assist customers with product selection, answering queries, and providing knowledgeable recommendations. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and arranging displays. Process transactions accurately using the till system, ensuring basic maths skills are applied effectively. Handle customer inquiries via phone with excellent phone etiquette, providing assistance as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Participate in inventory management tasks, including stock checks and replenishment.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is advantageous (multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply). Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy retail environment. Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage stock levels effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. Experience in upselling products is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
