Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team for up to 4 months. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers. This includes being able to physically move stock around and organise departments. Handle transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and reporting low stock items. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor and stockroom. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Fluent in English is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory efficiently. A proactive attitude towards merchandising and creating attractive product displays.
