Your Role
As Retail Sales Associate you will have excellent communication skills and be capable of building strong relationships with your colleagues and our customers. You'll be able take the lead to deliver our high standards of customer service and professionalism as well as supporting the management team to ensure that the sales and operations of the business runs smoothly.
You should be able to:
Provide an outstanding customer experience in store and give professional advice to our customers to assist in their selection of products.
Make customers feel at ease and understand each customer's personal requirements.
Handle any customer complaints in difficult situations.
Assist with stocking and merchandising the showroom.
Ensure showroom and displays are kept clean, tidy and well presented.
Use Carpet Trader CRM (customer relationship management) software to record customer information accurately, produce quotations and follow up on leads.
Ensure individual and team sales targets are met.
Strive to meet KPI's to develop your personal performance.
Have flexibility to work on a rota working every other Saturday.
All staff are required to lift and move products such as carpets and mattresses on a daily basis so must be physically fit and able.
Requirements
Previous experience within the industry is desired but not essential.
Customer focused, sales driven with a passion to exceed customer expectations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good numeracy skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
