Retro Remix, Canterbury's home of vintage and reworked fashion, is seeking a

dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate

to join our growing team. You will be the face of our store, delivering exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their purchases, and ensuring every visitor enjoys a unique and welcoming shopping experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for fashion, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage confidently with customers.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in finding the perfect items. Demonstrate strong product knowledge and share styling suggestions. Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Keep the shop floor tidy and well-presented, with products attractively displayed. Handle transactions accurately and efficiently at the till. Support stock management, including restocking and inventory checks. Address customer inquiries in person and over the phone with professionalism. Work collaboratively with the team to meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Confident in selling products and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Friendly, approachable, and passionate about fashion and people.

Availability to work 2-3 weekdays per week is required.

Flexibility to cover weekends/holidays when needed is an advantage.
