We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering. Perform merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences. Proficiency in using POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Experience in retail sales with an understanding of grocery store operations preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and experience in stocking products efficiently. Familiarity with phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
