Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting them in finding the right products to meet their needs. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding products and provide product information
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
- Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using technology such as cash registers, scanners, and POS systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

- Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required (e.g. bird seed bags - 15/20kg and dog food bags - 12kg etc)

The hours are 5 days a week with alternate Tuesday' and Saturday's off, we are closed on a Sunday.
