Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team at The Gold Centre. This is a full time post from Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organised store environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage time while engaging with customers.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products that meet their needs. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed. Process transactions accurately using the till and handle cash responsibly. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Answer customer queries via phone or in-person with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Perform regular inventory checks and assist in restocking items as necessary.

Skills

Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Highly organised with attention to detail to maintain store presentation standards. Basic maths skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately. Proven ability to sell products through effective communication and upselling techniques.
