Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop retail skills within a dynamic and supportive team, contributing to the overall success of our new outlet in Carmarthen.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and offer assistance in a professional manner Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer needs Operate cash registers efficiently, handling transactions accurately and promptly Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the sales floor and display areas Restock shelves and ensure products are presented attractively Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Support in stock management, including receiving deliveries and organising stock. Promote special offers, loyalty programmes, and new products to maximise sales Responsible key holder - Opening and closing shop daily. Full training given!!

Skills

Excellent communication skills (Welsh speaking is advantageous) Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Organised with good attention to detail and the ability to multitask Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels Flexibility to work fixed shifts- Shift pattern is dependant of the ability and availability of the candidates applying for the role.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, possess strong communication skills, and are eager to contribute positively to our retail environment. The role is also open to negotiation in terms of working hours. As we have yet to open the ability to help shape how we structure our shift patterns is down to the candidates availability and preferences.
