Responsibilities

Monitor store premises using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and prevent theft or vandalism. Conduct regular patrols of the store, including entrances, exits, stockrooms, and parking areas to ensure safety and security. Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Enforce store policies related to loss prevention, conflict management, and safety protocols with professionalism and confidence. Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations while maintaining composure and clarity. Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports for future reference and ongoing security assessments.

Experience

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain these certifications upon hire is expected. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices enhances your ability to protect assets efficiently. Demonstrated ability to work independently with keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
