Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond to incidents promptly, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or other criminal activity. Respond swiftly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken to mitigate risks. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide assistance during emergencies. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Enforce company policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service to all individuals on site. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.

Skills

Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems. Knowledgeable in loss prevention strategies and practices. First aid certification is preferred; ability to respond effectively in emergency situations is essential. Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats. Excellent customer service skills . Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents clearly and effectively. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
Must Hold Current SIA license and in date first aid certificate .

CCTV License would be advantageous and as some roles it is needed .
