Job Role: Retail Security Officer

Full time: Minimum 8 hours , day shift, specific times to be confirmed

Location: Central London

You will be joining a new team working in some of the most prestigious high-end retail shops in London. Having great communication skills, exceptional appearance and a keen eye to spot suspicious activity is a must. Report for duty 15 minutes prior to starting work, enabling the shift to commence on time. To follow and maintain site specific Assignment Instructions. To understand the needs and requirements of the client and carry out the duties effectively. Must have good written report skills To provide a highly-visible presence, to protect all client property/buildings & businesses that are within our defined area. To support the businesses when called upon. Always maintain a log of all routine and non-routine occurrences and keep the Management team informed. Report any immediate maintenance issues to the required management team. Monitor, understand and respond to all radio enquiries for security. Report and co-ordinate calls. Log any alarm response calls. Make sure that the appropriate company documentation and site forms are used in line with the Assignment instructions. To control and escalate any security matters to your line management. Liaise with the Police in the event of an incident, record all notes. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, whilst on duty. Dress to the standard expected as per the assignment instruction. Be a positive representation of the company. Maintain a structured and well organised team at all times.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

A good working knowledge in the security industry. Organised and able to prioritise Emergency Procedures. Good interpersonal and customer facing skills. Good communication and presentation skills A good understanding of P.A.C.E, The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. IT literate Good understanding of Microsoft Office. Maintain your SIA Frontline certification and display your license at all times.

My Local Bobby LTD are currently looking for a Full time Security Officer to join our team in the Central London area, working on a varied shift pattern.

working day shifts on a varied shift pattern .Flexibility from the candidates are a must.

Interested candidates must have a valid frontline SIA licence.
