About the Role:
We're looking for a professional and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team at B&Q. As a visible presence on the shop floor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and stock.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
Prevent theft, damage, and other illegal activity by monitoring the shop floor and surveillance equipment.
Act as a deterrent through visible patrols and excellent customer service.
Assist in conflict resolution and incident response when required.
Liaise with store management and emergency services when necessary.
Prepare and maintain security reports.

Working Hours:

This is a part time role
You will be required to work Sundays and Saturdays as well mixed around
Cover Multiple sites such as Wood Green, Leyton, Chingford and Haringey

Requirements:

Previous security experience preferred (retail security is a plus).
Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle incidents professionally.
Reliability and flexibility.
Ability to use a phone
