Job Description

As a Retail Security Officer (LUT1), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, colleagues, and premises. Your primary duties will include monitoring store activity, conducting regular patrols, and maintaining a highly visible presence to deter theft, fraud, and other security threats. You will be responsible for responding swiftly to incidents, carrying out searches where necessary, and working in line with company procedures to minimize losses. Collaborating closely with store management and local law enforcement, you will gather and report intelligence, manage access control, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding security standards at all times.
The ideal candidate will have excellent observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience in a security or customer-facing role is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. You must have strong communication skills, be confident in dealing with the public, and demonstrate a professional approach to conflict resolution. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and evenings, is required. SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority) is preferred; however, applications from candidates willing to obtain this qualification will also be considered.
