Job Description

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team in providing a safe and secure environment for our staff and customers. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security threats. Your duties will include conducting regular patrols of the store, observing CCTV footage, and responding promptly to any suspicious activity or security incidents. You will also be required to perform bag checks, monitor access points, and ensure compliance with all company security policies and procedures.
As a Retail Security Officer, you will work closely with store management and other team members to deter crime and provide a visible security presence. You may be asked to assist in investigating incidents, completing detailed written reports, and liaising with local law enforcement when necessary. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with customers, staff, and members of the public on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a security role, a valid SIA licence, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
