Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are addressed promptly. The Security Officer will also be involved in monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular patrols of the premises.

Duties

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the facility. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are upheld. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
