Duties

Monitor store premises using CCTV surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity and prevent theft or vandalism. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. Conduct regular patrols of the store floor, back areas, and parking lots to ensure safety protocols are followed. Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Implement loss prevention strategies by observing customer behavior and conducting discreet inspections when necessary. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records to ensure accurate documentation of daily activities. Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations professionally and courteously.

Experience

Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm protocols is essential. Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred to handle medical emergencies confidently. Background in military or security services provides valuable skills in conflict management and emergency response. Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts or emergencies effectively. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and store security procedures is advantageous.
