Job Description

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our store, staff, and customers by maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibility will be to prevent theft, deter antisocial behavior, and respond swiftly to security incidents. You will conduct regular patrols of the sales floor, monitor CCTV footage, and check alarm systems to ensure all security protocols are followed. In addition, you will be responsible for carrying out bag searches when necessary, completing detailed incident reports, and liaising with law enforcement or emergency services as required.
We are seeking individuals with excellent observational skills, a calm and professional demeanor, and the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and the public. Previous experience in a security or customer-facing role is highly desirable. You should be confident in handling difficult situations while maintaining the highest levels of customer service. A valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor license is essential. Flexibility is required as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
