Job Summary

As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers while assisting with merchandising and maintaining the overall organisation of the shop.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products. Maintain an organised and visually appealing shop environment through effective merchandising. Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring basic math skills are applied. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within operating hours. Collaborate with team members to achieve shop goals and maintain high standards of service.

Requirements

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent organisational skills to keep the shop tidy and well-stocked. Time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
