The Role - Retail Shop Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Retail Shop Manager

to lead the team at Bella Mira Home. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership, creativity, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail, customer service, and curating an inspiring shopping experience that reflects our values.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day shop operations, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the store. Deliver and inspire outstanding customer service at every interaction. Train, motivate, and manage retail assistants and part-time staff. Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination. Manage visual merchandising and seasonal displays to keep the store inspiring. Handle cashing up, sales reporting, and daily/weekly performance tracking. Plan and execute seasonal promotions, events, and community engagement initiatives. Ensure the store maintains a calm, welcoming, and holistic atmosphere. Work closely with the owners to align store goals with the Bella Mira Home vision.

Skills & Attributes

Proven experience in retail management or supervisory role. Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. A creative eye for visual merchandising and store presentation. Passion for homeware, crystals, gifts, or holistic wellbeing. Competence with POS systems, cash handling, and stock management. Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.

Role Overview:

As the Retail Shop Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience and driving the success of our store. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading by example to inspire and motivate our team to deliver outstanding customer service.

Setting and achieving sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

Curating an enchanting in-store atmosphere that reflects the wonder and beauty of our crystals and products collection.

Implementing effective merchandising strategies to showcase our products and drive sales.

Creating innovative strategies to enhance the shopping experience and drive repeat business.

Ensuring operational excellence, including inventory management, merchandising, and store cleanliness.

Building strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.

Monitoring industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
