Tile & Bathroom Mountain are launching a brand-new showroom in a prime location in Southampton, with a huge selection of Tiles, Tiling products and Bathrooms on display to view, all at incredibly competitive prices.



Are you an experienced, motivated and passionate assistant manager who has a proven track record in supporting a manager to create an exceptional customer experience? If so, this is an exciting time for you to join one of the UK's fastest growing tile and bathroom retailers and to help us maintain our number one position.

You will be responsible for helping to drive high performance by coaching, developing, challenging, and supporting your team. You will be able to think on your feet, plan strategically and know how to get things done. Having a background in the Tile/Bathroom industry would be beneficial but not essential as full product training will be provided.

Typical tasks include:



To effectively control the day to day operational activities of the Store when the Manager is not around To support the manager in leading the Sales Team ensuring they are maximising their potential and delivering the required performance levels in line with KPI's. To ensure that company standards are adhered to all times, such as presentation of staff, environment and goods. To communicate appropriately across all levels of business. Timely, accurate and professional responses to internal and external customers/partners and proactive outbound communication. To support the Manager with responsibilities such as store operations, prioritise, organise and act to deliver required solutions To develop your team including the identification and delivery of training needs

Standard hours of work are:



Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 with 1 hour lunch

Saturday (on a Rota basis with 1 day off in the week) 09:00 - 17:00

Sunday (on a Rota basis with 1 day off in the week) 10:00 - 16:00

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00 per year
