About the Role:

We're looking for a dedicated and proactive Site Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day operations at Shell Winnall, ensuring smooth and compliant performance across all areas of the site.

You'll be fully responsible for the operation of the site and report directly to the retailer. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be expected to lead by example, drive performance, and maintain a strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for site operations, including shop, hot good, and forecourt Manage staff rotas, shift cover, training, and performance Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and Shell operating standards Manage stock levels, deliveries, waste, and product presentation Deliver excellent customer service and handle any complaints or escalations Report key performance metrics and site issues to the retailer Be available to support the site during emergencies or unexpected absence

Our Site:

Shell Winnall operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including bank holidays.

Pay & Benefits:

Salary: based on 40 hours per week Additional earnings available for: Meeting or exceeding site performance targets Covering shifts and providing emergency support when needed 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays) Ongoing training and development Career progression opportunities as the company expands

Requirements:

Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within retail, fuel, or hospitality Strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service standards Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead by example Full UK driving licence preferred (due to site location and shift flexibility)
