We are seeking a data-savvy and commercially minded Retail Space & Cluster Data Analyst to join our analytics team within the Wholesale department.
This role plays a key part in optimising store layouts and tailoring retail strategies by analysing space utilisation and developing data-driven store clusters.
You'll work cross-functionally to help ensure the right products are in the right stores, in the right way -- maximising performance and enhancing the customer experience
Whilst this is a fixed term opening of 12 months, we have lots of opportunities within the company and many colleagues initially joined on this basis.
This position follows a 5 day working week, 3 days office based.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
Be a role model for the business and department's core purposes,whilst ensuring continual customer focus and alignment to leadership direction.
Manage time, critical paths and workload effectively in line with agreed business processes to enable successfully delivers of all structured activity
Being proficient in all associated systems to fully leverage all functionality and automation to ensure wasted effort is removed, whilst driving a tangible benefit to customers and colleagues.
Support the continuous improvement across Business/Support team activity, as well as other stakeholder relationships and processes through understanding them and their importance and impacts on others.
Understand and utilise all available data and reporting to clearly
Demonstrate improvements to on shelf availability.
Delegate responsibility effectively to drive performance, alongside helping to create an environment that encourages leadership and growth in others. Provide recommendations as well as opportunities for the team to find common ways of working using your specialist knowledge positively
Engagement in Business Teams ways of working to ensure an optimised output that delivers against the plan and corporate purpose.
Collaborative working with Business Teams to deliver
Customer-focused planograms that deliver commercial strategies through the use of robust and detailed data analysis that help to promote category growth.
Provide first class service and support within Business Teams to all stakeholders

About You

For this role, we're looking for someone who has:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Merchandising, Geography (GIS), or relevant experience
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with planogram software (e.g., JDA Space Planning/Blue Yonder, Spaceman) and clustering tools or methods.
Ability to interpret data, draw meaningful conclusions, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Broad Merchandising experience in Retail environments.
Proven experience in space planning, store clustering, or retail data analysis.
Proficient at analysing and presenting complex data
