RETAIL & STOCK ASSISTANT

We are looking for a friendly, proactive and organised individual to join our team, as a Retail & Stock Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for people, leads by example, has a great eye for detail and is looking to be part of and contribute to a 5team.

About you?

Someone with experience working in a retail environment A natural people person who enjoys talking to customers from all over the world Understands the importance of top sellers, and ensures stock is adequately replenished to reflect sales and display volume A confident salesperson, able to anticipate customer needs A proactive team player, who takes ownership of tasks, uses their initiative and always stays one step ahead. Knows how to prioritise a workload, while managing everyday tasks Someone with strong attention to detail, who takes pride in their work A can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed Thrives in a fast-paced environment
What will you be doing?

Proactively approaching customers on the shop floor, making genuine recommendations and providing a service that exceeds customer expectations Using our Epos system to process sales Receiving and processing (often sizable) deliveries
Distributing stock to multiple stock locations and departments Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ensuring all products are priced and well displayed Supporting our Visitor Assistants to ensure daily tasks and cleaning schedules are completed Maintaining a 5-star level of cleanliness both front and back of house
Due to our historic location, and listed status of our building, deliveries are taken in by hand. As such, manual handling is a key component of the role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.79 per hour

Expected hours: 36.25 per week
